The 3500 RAM is the largest capacity version of the Dodge pickup trucks, the dual rear wheel, one-ton Dodge Ram 3500 came with an eight-foot long bed box and power from a host of powerful engines. A 5.9-liter Magnum V-8 furnished base power for the 1998 Ram 3500 generating 250 horsepower. Today, you will find most of the heavy duty 3500’s are powered by the Cummins engine.
